Giwon was established in 2026 by Cecilie Svanberg, born from a desire to explore her Scandinavian and Korean heritage through aesthetics and design. This unfolds in a collection of sculptural and poetic jewellery and objects for everyday life.
The distinctive shape of the Korean pear is a defining element of the brand, inspired by the founder's Korean name, which means daughter of the fragrant pear tree.
Hand-drawn by the founder, the pear is transformed into sculptural jewellery and objects for the table, translating a personal story into pieces designed to be worn, used and lived with every day.
All pieces are handmade in Copenhagen from recycled sterling silver by skilled artisans. Production is intentionally limited, with designs made to order, allowing Giwon to prioritise quality, care and intention at every stage.
Giwon is not simply a jewellery brand — it is a contemplation of identity, heritage and craftsmanship, expressed through shape and material.
