Giwon was established in 2026 by Cecilie Svanberg, born from a desire to explore her Scandinavian and Korean heritage through aesthetics and design. This unfolds in a collection of sculptural and poetic jewellery and objects for everyday life.

Traditional Korean Moon Jars are a defining source of inspiration for the brand. Formed by merging two separate halves into a harmonious whole, they embody a unity mirrored in Giwon’s aesthetic language, where distinct elements are resolved into a single, considered form reflecting the union of the founder’s two cultures.

All pieces are handmade in Copenhagen from recycled sterling silver. Stock is kept limited, with designs made to order, allowing Giwon to prioritise quality and intention at every stage of production.

Giwon is not simply a jewellery brand – it is a contemplation of identity, duality and balance expressed through aesthics.
